The Next Chapter

A one-day workshop exploring purpose, meaning & joy in our later years

Are you between 50 and 75 years old? Are you at a threshold, stepping away from a life shaped by the activities and roles of your middle years? Do you look to a future with more freedom, less certainty and an ageing body?

If so, and if you live within reach of Simon’s Town in the Cape, I invite you to join one of my in-person workshops with a small group of your peers. Together we will address questions like:

  • What kind of person have you been — and might you yet become?

  • What do you yearn for that has yet to find expression?

  • What is in you to contribute in this next phase?

The transition from intense career or family-rearing preoccupation to a more personally crafted way of being in the world as an elder can be a profound and meaning-filled change of life. It can also be a source of confusion and anxiety. Through a sequence of structured reflections and the chance to listen to your peers, you may come to re-understand yourself and your unique path into the landscape ahead.

You will do so while enjoying the company of some like-minded fellow-travelers on the road.
